Hi, I’m Ryan Atwood, the founder of 3D Degree, where I help companies integrate 3D printing technologies to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

My journey with 3D printing began in 2021 when I bought my first 3D printer and launched an Etsy shop, creating custom prints and exploring the limitless possibilities of additive manufacturing. This early experience sparked a passion for 3D printing that led me to transition into the manufacturing industry in 2022, where I took on the challenge of managing and enhancing a 3D print lab.

During my time at the manufacturing plant, I focused on improving processes, designing innovative learning tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows. I gained hands-on experience in rapid prototyping, value stream mapping, and problem-solving—skills that I now leverage to help businesses unlock the full potential of 3D printing.

With a deep understanding of both the creative and operational aspects of 3D printing, I’m passionate about empowering companies to adopt this technology, drive innovation, and create sustainable, cost-effective solutions.
